Hi there. I'm looking to join a D&D group, and I don't really know anyone so I've joined here. I really don't know how to menuever this site, so I'll just say this here and now.
I've only ever played a month into one campaign and about a day into another. The DM lost his notes for both, and eventually our group had a falling out over something unrelated. I've been dying to try and play again, but I do have certain conditions I'm looking for. 1. I learned to play 3.0 and all my books are 3.5 so I need a group who plays either of those (or a House Rules mixture of both). 2. While I'll play one of the standard player races if I have to, I'd really much rather not because they don't really interest me as a player. With that in mind, I'd like to join a group who will accept or at least be willing to discuss "monstrous" PCs. My equipment: Books: 3.5 Player's Handbook, 3.0 DM manual (for light reading, additional insight, and future reference; will not be used during campaign unless you as a DM need to borrow it), 3.5 Monster Manual, Savage Species (about creating and playing "monster" PCs; contains additional feats), and Races of the Wild (in-depth roleplaying, prestige classes, and racial substitution levels for Elves, Halflings, and Raptorans; Insight and stats for NPC and PC Gnolls, Catfolk, Centaur, and others; contains additional feats) Other: Two full dice sets and a very small collection of miniatures (47 pieces) |
