Doug said I could make a post about Total Confusion 24, thanks! For those of you who don't know about TotalCon, it is the largest hard core gaming convention in the New England area. Last year was host to over 400 slot choices plus open video gaming and open board gaming. There is everything from miniatures to board games to role-playing and more! Highlights for 2010 include: *Industry Guests running events for you! Come play early ed. D&D games with Frank Mentzer (who worked at TSR,Inc in the early days with Gary Gygax and founded the RPGA); Brad Younie from Carnivore Games, Jay Libby from DillyGreenBeanGames and iNDiRPG; Andre Kruppa, the theatrical Call of Cthulhu GM with mods published by Chaosium; Mark Edwards, writer for Catalyst Game Labs running 7th Sea adventures; Leo A Walsh, who co-created Tatical Conflict Systems with award winning miniature terrain set-ups; John Poniske, game designer coming in to demo his new board games, and Bedrock Games Demo team with there new rpg's. *Flames of War National Qualifier hosted by Alder Hobby *Settlers of Catan World Wide Championship Pre-Qualifier (winner recieves a trip to GenCon 2010 to advance to the next round!) *Several New England Regional Championships (Carcassonne, Dominion, Pacific Typhoon, Power Grid, Puerto Rico, RA, Race for the Galaxy and Thurn & Taxis, Endeavor, Stone Age, and Car Wars with more TBA) *AT-43 sponsored by the New England AT-43 group *RPGA Living Forgotten Realms *Pathfinder Society *Heroscape Tournaments hosted by the North Eastern 'Scapers Association *Miniature events hosted by BattleGroupBoston and the Boston Trained Bands *Classic BattleTech tournament *NE's largest role-playing event which featured over 100 slot choices last year *Shadowfist CCG *Rockband with super sized screens! and that's just the beginning! There's casual gaming with an on-site boardgame library, open video gaming, young player games and more!
