anyone for a 4th edition game? havent plated it yet and i want to try it out

I've got a regular (weekly, usually) 3.75 game at my apt. in Providence. The pathfinder rules are VERY close to 3.5, but they've worked the bugs out. It's pirates and swashbuckling vs. the Savage Tide.

Amen to that! When the 1E Greybeards refused to go to 2E I was baffled. "Don't fix what ain't broke" they said and all I could think was how broken 1E was (heeeellllooooo table rules). The pattern repeated less so with 3E (most people agreed that 2E was a monster after 11 years) but then was strong with 4th Ed, er, 3.5E ($$$$). With 4E I said "no more" and have enough grey to qualify as a Greybeard myself now. I'm pretty close to "jerk" status too. My 10 year old prefers 4E to 3E and that sums it up for me.

I love Paizo for what they did for my old favourite Oerth/Greyhawk and would support their Pathfinder rules out of some sense of loyalty but my gaming hiatus was throughout their whole development period. I hope that Savage Tide game is going well; my Age of Wyrms game was one of my best before everyone started moving out of the area (yes, kettle calling the pot black I am).

Concerning transportation, I could give you a ride if needs be. I live in Rumford, and have two seats available in my car.
