Hey everyone,

RI is having their LARP games this weekend. Saturday at 7pm we are having our Requiem game (vampire) and Sunday we are having our Awakening game (Mage). It is a lot of fun. The first three games are free and after that it is $20 for a year membership. We often get together before hand to socialize with one another. This month we are doing a park cleanup at Roger Williams Park. If anyone is interested contact me at DC@Camarillaprovidence.org.

Assuming one has never LARP'd before what is an average "game" like for you guys? Is a form of dress required, necessary or suggested? Will I feel like a newb? I've been curious about LARPing and wasn't aware of a group in RI.

Just a plug. I'll be attending the Vampire the Requiem LARP for the 1st time this month on the 20th. It's a good time to jump into the game as the game just reset. I'll be posting it up as an event as soon as I get the details. I think the tentative proposed schedule is:

Awakening (Mage) 12- 5 pm
FOOD 5-7 pm
Requiem (Vampire) 7-12 am
