I would definitely be interested in running a game on Tuesday. Tuesday nights would be perfect as my schedule is completely free so I could run anytime.
So to any and all who are interested in getting involved in a World Of Darkness modern setting that will be run on a Tuesday feel free to reply.
I will be running something quite different for a story so everyone will have to make new characters. I will announce what I will allow for characters once I have a commitment from at least 2 players.
I will be running a very storyline driven game with in depth plots and N.P.C.s that the players will be interacting with. The game will have a heavy focus on roleplay between the players themselves and the N.P.C.s in the story. I will say upfront that I run hero games and utilize the errata rules released near the time of judgment saga.
Anyone who seriously wants to get into a consistent and serious chronicle should reply here.
I hope to try and get this going ASAP and look forward to hearing from all who are interested. I would also like to add that you need not be experianced in WOD, I only ask that those who reply are mature in nature and flexable. Thanks

Thank you for the offer, but no can do.

I've got a six sigma project I am working on.

However, anyone with any questions reguarding the New WOD ruleset need only ask, I will be glad to share what I know.

We have one player ready to commit for tuesday eves around 6pm. I am willing to run if I get at least 1 more comitment for the game. So anyone interested or know somebody who would be feel free to reply.
I welcome players of any skill level and you need not know the White Wolf \ World Of Darkness system to play. I only ask that players be open and mature in behavier. I can run weekly or biweekly here in fall river. Once we get going we could talk about other locations but I would prefure to stay as close to Fall River as possible as my car has a lot of miles on her already lol.

If it doesn't pan out for you, please consider this idea...

This is something I have had great success with in the past (game ran over 2 years every Wednesday night) is using the free voice communication software like Teamspeak, or Ventrilo to conduct a game over a computer.

The way I worked that out was the Storyteller had a copy of the character sheet with him or her (lets be equal here)

Just conduct the game just like a table top game, only thing missing is the person directly in front of you. Use your house rules and whatever. The storyteller gets Admin privileges for the voice software.

If the Storyteller wants to be sure dice rolls are true, he or she can make the rolls, In my case, I let the player roll it, if they wanted to cheat so be it, takes away from the fun of the story for them in my opinion, because sometimes screwing up a roll can lead to secondary story Idea's and the like.

It was a blast due to how much freedom it offered Storytellers (myself in this case) to prepare, to use Email or Messaging software to send files and images to Players, so that they physically have something before them to view and try and interpret (many a side story started that way)

Also allowed people to join who couldn?t travel (several players I had were from New Hampshire), If you were not feeling well you didn't have to worry about getting others sick, you could have whatever you wanted from your own fridge, you were in the comfort of your own home, ect...

*IF* this is something you want to consider, let me know, I would be more then happy to assist in setting up the voice software, hell I can even host the voice server.

As much as I hate to agree, I agree. This wouldn't be a bad idea if we can get it to work.

Thanks... I think. devilish

I can get it to work, done it before...can do again.

now weather it is for everyone, that remains to be seen. Some people don't like the Idea of needing to get a Mic (I recomend the USB type when possable, they auto install and are easy to use cost about 30 bucks from wally world.)

Ventrillo has one of the best sound quality codex, and I have run the servers before, along with Teamspeak servers for guilds in WoW.

It can work, it just needs the chance...

I decided to check out my lap top for the server settings I used in the past and sure enough, I found it, I tested it out and got it working perfectly.

*IF* again that is if, you all decide to go that route, send me a message (via meetup or through AIM at Dsully2) and I will send you the server info (IE it's IP address and password) and I can walk you through any set up issues you might have? the software is really very straight forward, and the server can be configured to set things up automatically.

The server is a Ventrilo server. (http://www.ventrilo.c...) you will need to download a client (Small file, easy install)

The server settings I use automatically sets up the best sound Codex, for the best results set up the Push to talk features, instead of the voice activated feature.

The Password is used to prevent voice spammers from accessing the server, annoying little bastards that they can be

The Storyteller gets Channel admin privileges, I used this to mute other players if I needed to privately inform someone of something (IE a player wanted to obtain info and not share it directly with the group)

On a side note, I can commit to this since I will have access to my desktop computer to monitor the progress of a few DOE tests that I will need to run, and keep up with my projects timetable, and I can also watch my 10 almost 11 month old Daughter.

Works for me. I live with a tech-geek who set this stuff up for AC and WoW type games so I'm sure we can figure it out.

Let me know I'd love to game WW again.

Just poking my head in here to say that if you're running a VOIP game and you want to have dice rolls "out in the open," there are a lot of good online dice rollers that will either email the results to you, or post them in a place where everyone can see them; most PbP sites will have either their own roller or a link to one. That way, people still get to make their "rolls" (even though they don't get the feeling of dice in the hand), and the GM can still verify them to keep everybody honest. Just a thought; hope you guys get this going. (WOD's not my thing, but you guys rock on.)
