  •  Hi Kevin,
I'm a long time gamer who's been out of the loop for about 10 years, and looking to get back into a good game. The problem is, I LOATHE 4ed D&D. Currently, I am looking for a Pathfinder group but they are few and far between.
If you have a Pathfinder game that can use an extra hand please let me know.

  •  Oh, I wasn't aware you meant "of Pathfinder races/classes," though I should have probably made the connection; those are just my favorites. I'm Scott's recently-mentioned friend, by the way.

  •  My first 3E PC was a gnome ranger...just because it hadn't been a legal combo before then. I'm fine with pre-gens or the NPC that usually drools at the back of the party. I'm a role-player not a roll-player and the more transparent the metagame, the better. I hope PF brings back some of that like 1E/2E had. Just looking forward to a game. The wife is officially "buttered" and even mulling an appearance herself. *gasp* Asmodeus must be enjoying the skiing.

  •  Hey Kevin...thanks the invite...I'd invite you to the Gentle Readers MeetUp too...we game from my home in Colonie & the mature gamer comment comes as you suspected from the age of our group...30+...so if you're looking for a gritty game, then this is it...I don't get up to the Berkshires much...do you get to Albany & its surround...the social aspect of your game mirror those of mine...Happy Gaming & Hoist a Jar for me...Dave

  •  The Illusionist NPC doesn't have to be half-elf. Actually, half-orc or something that would inspire illusion would be great (like, he's a half-orc but makes himself LOOK like a half-elf!).
I may not be able to attend too often. Pittsfield is a bit of a travel stretch for me from Schenectady, NY, and I teach at the University of Albany, so that can take quite a bit of time sometimes. I will try, though.

  •  Hi Kevin. My name is Pete and I live in Troy, NY (about an hour away from you). I'm a HUGE 4th edition Fantasy Hero fan (I have yet to try 5th edition Hero) and am curious if you're still running a game with any openings in it (it'd be me and my GF). I haven't been able to find ANYONE willing to learn Hero around here. The myth about it require complex arithmetic shot it in the foot, so to speak. I also GM a ton of games as well, but I'd love to get to play in a Hero System game!
