I have been a gamer since '82 playing D&D, White Wolf, and others. I moved onto computer gaming and just recently got back into the idea of table-top gaming when I heard the podcasts of the Penny Arcade and Robot Chicken guys playing 4th ed.

Darklands. This took a more "historical" look at a medieval game setting and I loved the use of alchemy instead of magic. Really unique. Of course it crashed every time you tried to fight one of the biggest monsters, but you can't have everything!
Any game that requires a four to five week learning curve to perfect. I want to play not have a second job.
