It was my first time playing 4E rules, the group and DM were pleased to accommodate and assist as I transitioned my 3.5 experience to the new (and very different) rules.
After not playing D&D for over 15 years it was great to get back to the table. A good group of people helped immensely with explaining some of the rule changes. The game is barely recognizeable from 2E so the extra help was much needed and appreciated!
This was an interesting twist. We died spectacularly, but had fun doing it. Now we have an idea of how to be better prepared for next time. I'm interested in trying again.
Lots of fun as usual! I enjoy the storytelling aspects of this season, how the character quirks (I don't remember the technical name) can interplay with the larger story.
I enjoyed this season of encounters. My one critique about this session is that the very last encounter was anticlimactic compared to the 2nd to last encounter.
