Living Forgotten Realms: "The Black Knight of Arabel"

As part of an ongoing effort to increase the D&D presence at our FLGS (Friendly Local Game Shop), we will now be offering Living Forgotten Realms adventures on the Wednesdays in between encounters. Now you can get that fix for rolling your dice (and roleplaying your character). For those of you who participated in season one of Encounters, your character is now fully legal in LFR. Otherwise, please download the LFR Character Creation Guide available at http://www.wizards.co.... We look forward to seeing you as we adventure across the world of Abeir-Toril.

This week's adventure takes us to the noble kingdom of Cormyr:

CORM1-1
Your party is sent to investigate allegations of Netherese activity near Arabel: a dark rider commanding legions of shadow. Can you turn back the tide before it’s too late? A Living Forgotten Realms adventure set in Cormyr for characters levels 1-4.

**********************************************************************************

Please Note: LFR adventures are intended to be played in 4 hours. As the store closes at 10PM on Wednesday nights (and we very much like having a store to play in), it's imperative that LFR events begin promptly at 6PM in order to ensure sufficient time to play the adventure. Please arrive on time (if not a little early) and be ready to start the adventure at 6PM sharp.

Are people who were at the first session allowed to come if we missed the _three hour_ RSVP window?

Anyone can come. We're hoping to have two tables, which would allow up to 12 players to come. I've updated the event capacity to allow for up to two full tables of 6 players each. Let's make it happen.

@Steve and to some degree Chris- Yes, 1st level characters. They have to be made in accordance with the LFR Character Creation Guide that Tanios linked in the post. It is very important that you show up with a legal character and your DCI/RPGA# ready to go. We only have 4 hours to run a 4 hour module, leaving very little wiggle room.

Addendum- Not necessarily 1st level. The module is designed to run with characters of 1st through 4th level, but again they must be made and maintained using LFR rules. That being that you can't just make a 4th level character, he/she/it would have to level up by participating in modules.

If you don't have a DCI/RPGA#. it's not a huge deal. I have some extras and Tanios might as well.

Indeed, we have plenty of registration forms for getting an RPGA/DCI number. Just come to the event and we'll have you all squared away in no time.

Is it too late to sign up for this? I saw a few open spots so I'm going to... even if it's too late, I'd like to get an RPGA number, register and get set up so I can play next time, if not this one... can I do that?

@Charles-You're more than welcome to come tonight. We have extra DCI/RPGA numbers. All you'll have to bring is a character made according to the LFR Character Creation Guide that is linked in the original posting.

So I'll have CORM1-1 prepped and ready, however I will also have another module ready should people seek some variety or there are those tonight who have played CORM1-1 previously.
