Living Forgotten Realms: "Silent Streets and Vanished Souls"

As part of an ongoing effort to increase the D&D presence at our FLGS (Friendly Local Game Shop), we will now be offering Living Forgotten Realms adventures on the Wednesdays in between encounters. Now you can get that fix for rolling your dice (and roleplaying your character). For those of you who participated in season one of Encounters, your character is now fully legal in LFR. Otherwise, please download the LFR Character Creation Guide available at http://www.wizards.co.... We look forward to seeing you as we adventure across the world of Abeir-Toril.

This week's adventure takes us to the legendary city of Baldur's Gate:

BALD1-4
A distraught father has gotten no satisfaction from the city authorities of Baldur’s Gate, so he turns to sellswords in hopes of finding his lost daughter. The truth of her disappearance may reveal dark secrets from the city’s past – secrets that those on both sides of the law would kill to protect. A Living Forgotten Realms adventure set in Baldur’s Gate for characters levels 1-4.

Please Note: LFR adventures are intended to be played in 4 hours. As the store closes at 10PM on Wednesday nights (and we very much like having a store to play in), it's imperative that LFR events begin promptly at 6PM in order to ensure sufficient time to play the adventure. Please arrive on time (if not a little early) and be ready to start the adventure at 6PM sharp.

Like Tanios mentioned, please show up for 5:45 at the latest. We need to get the bones rolling by 6. Please remember to bring your DCI numbers and whatever LFR Rewards Cards you intend to apply towards your PCs. Also, if you folks want to mention what characters you're intending to bring I think that might help to expedite things.

Jon H is intending to bring his Lvl 2 Human Wizard from Season 1 Encounters.

By the way, your concern about people being unable to play in high-band adventures has been addressed -- LFR rules now allow characters to start at 5th, 8th, or 11th level. That said I hope we will see a mix of high and low level adventures, I have lots of characters to try!

I think I'll probably play my Warlord or Ranger, what are other folks going to bring?

I don't want to jinx anything, but if there's enough interest to bring us over into a second table then I'm willing to run it at the same time. So if anyone is looking into this, don't let lack of room dissuade you.

I really want to come but cannot fit in in my schedule. In subsequent weeks it will be a little different, but I'm not sure about 5:45. Arriving at 6:00 will be the best I could do in the future.

I have a quick favor to ask if anybody is willing: I ran out of paper before I could print up some extra RPGA rewards cards. If anybody can do that and bring a couple copies with them, I'd appreciate it.

Dad can't make it next time, we'll need someone else to bring a leader.
