D&D Encounters: Dark Sun Season 2

Get your game on every other Wednesday with D&D Encounters, an ongoing mini-campaign where you’ll play two encounters every other week at your local game store. Earn exclusive rewards as you gain Renown Points for accomplishments made during each season!

Season 2 takes place in the upcoming Dark Sun campaign setting. Adventure in the deserts of Athas where just surviving the unrelenting heat, vicious monsters, and others trying to scavenge out an existence in a brutal world decimated by reckless magic is hard enough. All characters are pre-generated so all you have to do is show up and play.

If you have friends or family interested in D&D and looking for a great introduction to what 4th edition has to offer, have them come and join us for an evening of adventure at Veteran's Gaming in Warwick. Sessions will start at 6PM and should run from 2-3 hours.

For those of you who played in Season 1, Rewards Cards earned in that adventure are fully legal for use in all subsequent seasons.

This meetup is the culmination of Season 2, so something special is in the works to wrap up the last 15 weeks of Dark Sun Encounters in a big way. Keep note that we'll have Season 3 starting a week or two after this so be ready for "Keep on the Borderlands" revisited for the release of D&D Essentials.

Due to DM availability issues and the fact that it looks like we'll have two tables for the final session, we're postponing the start of this session until 7:30 PM. Again, the start time will be 7:30 PM.

If the session starts at 7:30 what time do you want people to arrive? I assume that there isn't a lot of prep since the characters are all pregen.

Anytime before 7:30 is good (7:15 is usually good, especially if you haven't been to previous sessions and want a recap or something). If you've RSVP'ed prior to the event, you'll be guaranteed a seat up to ten minutes after our "official" start time. If you're running late, call the store to let us know and we can usually make accommodations in that event.
