At Templecon lots of us talked about getting together at Veterans Gaming in Warwick and playing again. Let's use this thread to setup a time to get together and do just that.

Well, I was talking to Doug and Dean, and I think we're going to try to set up the Wednesday night D&D Encounters. It only takes about 1-2 hours to play. It starts in March I believe. I'm going to talk to Dean over at Veterans Gaming and set something up with him and see if we can get enough folks so that we can run multiple tables.

I'll certainly give the encounters a try, but driving 90 minutes to play 120 minutes seems like kind of a waste. I was thinking of running a long pre-printed adventure, like Seekers of the Ashen Crown, if I could find anyone interested. That adventure is supposedly one of the better ones and I have been craving a long continuous adventure for a while.

Id do a regular game or RPGA in addition to encounters.

I'd definitely like to get in on some D&D Encounters. Granted, I'd really like to get into a solid long-running campaign but my schedule at the moment won't allow it. Having said that, would DDE players be required to get RPGA numbers and such?

I would imagine you would have to be a member of the RPGA or join the RPGA, it's a fairly painless process that involves going on the web once you get a card from the DM.

Greg is correct.

I ordered all the D&D Encounter events. Every Wednesday starting March 17th and ending June 2. We have DMs already. I just need to let Veterens know we'll be coming :)

What time do you think these shenanigans will be getting under-way?

This definitely sounds like something I'd be interested in...

trying to get back into gaming, currently most familiar and played 4e more recently, and these short sessions sound like exactly what I need to start meeting new faces and get my dice rolling...

I may not be able to make every single wednesday (because my work schedule changes) but I'll definitely try to be there for most of them.

I'm definitely looking for a longer-term campaign. However, I'm also looking to learn 4e, and this kind of sounds like a great way to do that. I'm up for it! I'm pretty much free for any time after 5.30
